Fabulous luxury mountain home

This is an amazing house in the mountains outside of Yellowstone. The house is absolutly beautiful. They recycled lumber from the 1860’s gold rush in such creative, interesting and substantial ways. The rooms are large, comfy and private. We were only two couples but many more would be comfortable.

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this property was. The pictures do not do it justice. All of Lisa’s recommendations were perfect! We were 10 minutes from Hellsaroarin Horseback riding, which was great, and also 10 minutes from the North Entrance of Yellowstone. We are already planning a date to be able to go back again. Thanks again for the most memorable vacation we have ever taken!!!

my wife and 8 children loved our time at this house. They went out of the way to do some little things that made it extra special for our family. the house is up a mountain, but worth the switchbacks to get to it. it is a nice and quiet, but still close to the town of Gardiner and the North entrance of Yellowstone. I don’t think you can get much closer without staying inside the park…

This home was amazing!! Rustic but had all necessities. The beds were very comfortable. Just wished we could have spent more time at the house but set out every morning to go into the park. Would love to stay again!!

Roomy property very convenient to Yellowstone. Six adults were able to be comfortable here. You can see the steam rising from Mammoth Hot Springs from here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this rental home. Was perfect for our family of 6, first time at Yellowstone. Was spacious, beautiful hill-side with horses and deer. Was clean, fully stocked kitchen which was very helpful since we cooked all 3 meals. Close to north entrance to the park. Lisa was very helpful and prompt with communication with me. Thank you again!!!

Great cabin with heaps of character just outside Gardiner (and views of mammoth, what!?!?). It was peaceful, beautiful, a great jumping off point for Yellowstone and very convenient to a horseback (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication from the host was awesome and we had a perfect stay with no hitches whatsoever.

Sunny side will exceed all expectations. We enjoyed a 4 day stay on the hillside with views of Yellowstone Park (you can see Mammoth hot springs from the deck). It’s a short drive from Gardiner but far enough away from everything that you feel like you’re off the grid. Peaceful with beautiful views, lots of song birds, and the sounds of bear creek. This lodge is super cute, comfy, cozy, roomy, and so close to the entrance to Yellowstone. The beds are super comfy. The views are a bonus. Lisa, the host, is so easy to communicate with and so helpful with tips for fun and recreation. I highly recommend this gem!!

The views are beautiful, the house is quiet, the kitchen is great, and there are plenty of beds. It is a wonderful basecamp for all of your adventures into Yellowstone.

This cabin is high up in the hills, and so worth the extra drive. A beautiful main floor space, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds were just the start. Lisa is a very responsive host, and many thoughtful touches (like games and activity brochures) are evident through the cabin. The kids in our family of 6 enjoyed it as much as they did the park!

We rented this house from Lisa for a week for 5 adults and 2 children. The house has a rustic feel and is very nice. There was enough room for all of us. It is relatively close to Mammoth and the northern entrance to the park. Lisa was prompt in answering me and willingly gave helpful information about the park. Sunny Slope Lodge was perfect for our family of 7 ranging in age from 8 to 70. The house is situated 5 miles above Gardiner and the views from the house were amazing! We loved the incredible drive up the mountain where we always encounter a family of Elk. Our favorite moments at the house were in the window seat or on the back porch drinking coffee. Sunny Slope Lodge is a beautifully crafted, well kept home in a beautiful and convenient location. Located outside of the north entrance of Yellowstone, it actually feels like you are staying inside the park, as we drove down the hill we see plenty of Elk and a beautiful landscape. This is a really wonderful place. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, basically a part of nature. In one morning, a small deer came to see us 🙂 The owner was very kind and responding to messages very fast. I can really recommend this place!

If you’re looking for a spectacular cabin that will hold lots of people near Yellowstone, look no further. We just spent four nights here with five adult children plus my 85 year old mother-in-law…eight of us, total. Easy drive from the north entrance or Gardiner. We had plenty of room. Fabulous views. The house is conviniently located 15 mins from the north entrance. It’s far from the hustle and has a nice rustic view. All the amenities are well set including soap towels pleanty of cutlery and dishes as well as basic spices. Lisa was very very helpful and super quick in responding, her great tips helped us plan the trip better. Nothing to not like about. Amazing stay in Gardiner. Great views. Property is fantastic. Close location to North Entrance of Yellowstone and the town area, but far enough away for privacy. Best of both worlds. Lisa was great. Quick to reply to any questions. Would highly reccomend. Outstanding!

The house is beautiful and spacious and completely met our needs. The rooms are just as described and the lounging areas are great.
